Wildebeest Approaching the Grumeti River

Large numbers of the wildebeest and zebra are heading towards the famous Grumeti River. The herds have started leaving the Central Serengeti in large numbers and only a few of the wildebeest and zebra can be spotted at the Central Serengeti. The majority of them have started marching towards the North West part of Serengeti and its just a matter of days until they cross the Grumeti River infested with Crocodiles. The period of June and July is when the wildebeest migrate and head towards the Grumeti River. This is a spectacular show that cant be missed and staying at any of the lodges in the Grumeti Reserve will enable you to experience this spectacle.
