DAY 1 : NAIROBI - SAMBURU
Arrive
at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport JKIA( Nairobi ), go through the
passport control then down to the luggage collection unit, collect your
luggage and walk out to the arrival section and you will be met by your
driver / guide and our representative holding a folder written ‘AJABU
AFRICAN SAFARIS’ and your names. Then you will be taken to Jacaranda Hotel for a full Safari Briefing. After the briefing you will take a road trip about 6 hours drive to Samburu National Reserve.
You will be accommodated at the beautiful and luxurious Samburu Saruni Lodge set at the Northern part of Samburu National Reserve. This lodge is perched on the top of the Kalama Mountains with an all round view of Northern Kenya and it is in the area where most of the wildlife are found around the Samburu National Reserve. Samburu Saruni Lodge is a designed lodge that is introducing a fresh concept to a well known Safari destination. The bar and dining area have amazing views and also the swimming pool. Each room is beautifully designed with a private balcony where one can view the sunset, stars and the magnificent Samburu landscape.
The animals that can be seen here are namely cheetah, elephants, lions, baboon, leopard, grant’s gazelle, zebra, warthog, hippo, impala, dik-dik, buffalo.

DAY 2: SAMBURU
The second day in the most beautiful Northern part of Kenya and today you will have your breakfast overlooking the Samburu Reserve and after breakfast you will do a game drive and see the wild animals in this area.
After Breakfast you will head back to the lodge and have your lunch. After lunch you can siesta in the room or by the magnificent swimming pool.
Then in the late afternoon you can do a walking safari and study the animal behavior and there habitat. Your guide will teach you about the flora and fauna found in this area, this is where you need to make sure that your camera batteries are fully charged because you will be seeing the animals at a close range especially the birds and I am sure you would love to take a lot of photos.
Then after the game drive you will be treated to a spectacular ‘traditional bush dinner’ around a camp fire and Samburu warriors.

DAY 3: LAKE NAKURU
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. This drive will be between 5-6 Hours. On the way you will see animals like lion, flamingo, leopard, gazelle, pelican, impala, warthog, unique wildlife. You will be accommodated at Flamingo Hill Camp which is situated around the famous Lake Nakuru National Park, which lies within the Great Rift Valley. The Camp is designed amazingly around beautiful green garden and the tents are decorated in calming safari tones and natural materials. The cuisine at this camp is amazing, the chefs pride themselves on the food that they serve to the guests. Quality and Excellence is simply one way to describe what is been offered here.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA
After Breakfast you will head to the famous National Park in Kenya, the Masai Mara National Park. This drive will take between 6-7 Hours. You will be accommodated at the beautiful designed Mara Serena Safari Lodge situated at the famous Masai Mara National Park. This lodge is set high on a bush cloaked hill with views of the Savannah and it is in the area where most of the wildlife are found around the Mara River. The lodge is styled in a magnificent way and the décor suggest a fantasy Masai Manyatta ( traditional house ) with raw African beauty, the bar and dinning area have amazing views and also the swimming pool. Each room is beautifully designed with a private balcony where one can view the sunset, stars and the masai mara landscape.
The Masai Mara is known for its breathtaking spectacle of the greatest wildlife scene called the migration of the wildebeest where millions of wildebeest and zebra cross the Mara river. It is the extension of Tanzania’s most beautiful park the Serengeti. The animals that can be seen here are namely cheetah, elephants, lions, giraffe, leopard, thomson gazelle, zebra, rhino, hippo, impala, dik-dik, buffalo. Yes one can be able to see all the BIG 5.

DAY 5: MASAI MARA
The second day in the most beautiful part of Africa and today you will fly high over the Mara in a hot air balloon in the morning hours if weather is OK and you will view the animals from above, and after the balloon ride you will touch down for an amazing one of the kind breakfast in the bush overlooking the hippo pool and the Masai Mara Savannah plains.
After Breakfast we can arrange for you to visit a Maasai Boma (Traditional Village) where maasai warriors and women will welcome you and show you around and explain there maasai culture. You can take photos while the Maasai warriors are dancing and throwing there spears show casing there strength, also you can go inside the manyatta and see where they put there animals and talk to the children. After the Maasai visit you will head back to the lodge and have your lunch. After lunch you can siesta in the room or by the magnificent swimming pool.
Then in the late afternoon you can do a game drive with our professional guide and this is where you need to make sure that your camera batteries are fully charged because you will be seeing the BIG 5 and I am sure you would love to take a lot of photos.
Then after the game drive you will be treated to a spectacular ‘ traditional bush dinner’ by the Mara river around a camp fire and Maasai warriors.

DAY 6: SERENGETI
In the morning after breakfast you will depart Mara Serena Lodge heading towards the Isebania border of Kenya / Tanzania . This drive will take 5 Hours. When you reach the border you will exchange vehicles and guides. Then you will drive to the place of the klipspringer ( mbuzi mawe). On the way you will see abundance of wild animals. Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp is located in one of the main annual migration corridors where millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and predators are found.
The rooms are beautifully designed with en suite bathrooms, private deck. Here at Mbuzi Mawe Tented Camp one can enjoy nature at its best, with activities like game drives, sundowners, cultural dance been offered.
When you arrive at the Camp you will be welcomed and treated as royals. You will be shown to your rooms and you can siesta and enjoy the beauty of this camp.

DAY 7: SERENGETI
This second day in Serengeti will be full of surprise because you will have a fantastic bush breakfast observing thousands of migrating wildebeest and zebra. After Breakfast you will commence on your morning walk whereby you will learn about the flora and fauna of the Serengeti. You will learn about the different acacia trees and why is the wildebeest always very close to the zebra.
After the 2 hours walk in the middle of the Serengeti you will head back to the camp whereby you will have lunch and after lunch you can siesta in your room and await for the afternoon game drive.
Around 4.00 pm you will head out again into the Serengeti and see the vast amounts of wildlife drinking there last water of the day before darkness appears. After the game drive you will go back to the camp and freshen up ready for your dinner.

DAY 8: NGORONGORO CRATER
After breakfast you will take your picnic lunch and depart by road from Serengeti on your way to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater which has been designated as a world heritage site. On your way you will pass by Olduvai Gorge which is the famous archeological site ‘the birth place of man’. You will descend into the Ngorongoro conservation area into the crater for a wonderful game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is described as the 8th wonder of the world, it is the largest intact volcanic caldera.
Here you will be able to see the BIG 5, elephant, black rhino, jackal, zebra, hippo, hyena, wildebeest, lion, antelopes and many species of birds. You will be accommodate at the luxurious Ngorongoro Crater Lodge/Ngorongoro Serena Lodge. When you arrive you will be welcomed like kings and queens and offered refreshments. This amazing lodge enjoys spectacular views of the world heritage site in which it stands. The rooms are beautiful furnished with each suite overlooking the crater. It is opulent and yet intimate with fresh roses, beaded chandeliers, fireplace, gourmet delights, its easy for one to believe that you have entered into a fantasy.

DAY 9: LAKE MANYARA
In the morning you will do a game drive down at the crater rim to see all the amazing animals, birds, acacia trees, then you will take a road trip heading towards the home of the pink colonies the flamingos and the amazing tree climbing lions not seen any way else in the world. The drive will be amazing and along the way you will see elephants, giraffe, zebra, warthog, buffalo, impala, eland, hartebeest, gazelle, wildebeest, birdlife. Lake Manyara is at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.
You will be accommodated at the beautiful Lake Manyara Serena Lodge. You will be met with open arms and welcomed like royals. This lodge stands high on an edge with panoramic views of the alkaline waters of the Lake Manyara. It offers high adventure sports including mountain biking, canoeing, forest walks. The central pool has an amazing view looking far toward the alkaline waters of Lake Manyara.
After dinner it will be the time again to go and see the SIMBA on his hunting territory and also see other nocturnal animals like owl, bat eared fox, badger, white tail mongoose, hedgehog on a Night game drive.

DAY 10: TARANGIRE
After breakfast you will depart by road heading toward the Tarangire National park which is the 3rd
largest park in Tanzania, and you will do an afternoon game drive
en-route to the lodge, your guide will have already parked your picnic
lunch. Here you will be accommodated at the luxurious Swala Tented Camp.
When you arrive at the lodge you will be welcomed and you will be
offered refreshments to quence your thirst.
Swala
Tenetd Camp is located in an exceptionally private section of Tarangire
National Park, offering visitors a luxurious and very exclusive safari
experience The rooms are luxury built and each of the tents is shaded by
tall acacia trees and is within sights of the dining area, library. The
tents are equipped with king size beds, en suite bathrooms, chairs,
sofas, indoor and outdoor showers.
The
features of the Tarangire National Park include rivers, lakes, swamps,
hills, vegetation zones of which the Acacia Tortillis is found.
Tarangire is famous for having many species of birds and also the famous
tree climbing pythons found nowhere else other than the Tarangire
National Park. The area supports a great number of wildlife like
leopard, buffalo, lion, giraffe, wild dog, more than 5000 elephants,
cheetah, warthog and birds.

DAY 11: TARANGIRE
This is
another day at the famous Tarangire National Park and after breakfast
you will do a game drive and you will see all the famous animlas around
the Tarangire region. Then you will visit a local school and see the
school kids and the classrooms. Then you will head back to the Camp and
be ready to taste the magnificent dishes that the Swala Tented Camp has
to offer.
After
lunch you can siesta at the room or you can relax by the amazing pool
looking at the wildlife while awaiting for the time to arrive to do an
afternoon walking safari, this is very interesting because you will
learn about flora and fauna, see amazing landscape,you will see the
animals on a ground level and if lucky come close to an elephant. The
walk will make you to enjoy the natural wonders of Tarangire.
After
the walk you can relax by the Camp, have dinner and go out and meet the
SIMBA hunting in the bush on a spectacular Night game drive. This is
when you will see the cats at their best hunting down impala, zebra,
wildebeest, gazelle, and buffalo. Some of the other nocturnal animals
that you will see are bush baby, owl, white tail mongoose, honey badger,
bat eared fox.

DAY 12: ARUSHA
After
breakfast you will depart Tarangire National Park heading to the famous
town of Arusha which is known for its Coffee plantation, Arusha National
Park, views of Mount Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru. On the way you will
see animals, villages and different people.
You will
be accommodated at the magnificent one of the best Arusha Coffee Lodge
which is the perfect spot to relax before heading to the island of
Zanzibar. Arusha coffee lodge is located amongst one of the largest
coffee plantations in Tanzania. The theme of coffee is never far away
from Arusha coffee lodge and from the rooms one can have perfect views
of the gardens. The chalets are built on a raised platform with
luxurious facilities. This lodge has a homely feel and the staff makes
ones stay here a memorable one. You will be welcomed like royals and
offered refreshments to quench your thirst.
In the
afternoon you will have lunch then immediately after lunch you will
siesta in your room and later you will visit the Maasai Market which is a
place where you can buy handicrafts made from ebony, redwood and
various paintings all made by Tanzanians. After the Maasai Market you
will head back to the lodge and relax with a cup of coffee awaiting the
time to have dinner.

DAY 13: ZANZIBAR
After
breakfast you will do a drive to Arusha Airport to catch a flight to
Zanzibar. Now this is the cherry on the cake, after days of driving and
game viewing, you need to relax by the Indian Ocean and there is no
other place to do this apart from been in Zanzibar ‘the spice kingdom’.
Zanzibar is known for its spices like cardamom, turmeric, cloves,
cinnamon, historic places like stone town, prison island ( which was
convert into a hotel ) museums, swimming with the dolphins in Kizimkazi.
You will
be accommodated at the luxurious Diamonds Dream of Zanzibar Hotel
nestled in the midst of exotic gardens on the beach front overlooking
the turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. This hotel didn’t get its name
for nothing because it’s a true Diamond and from the suites with Jacuzzi
to the pool, mvua african rain spa, gym, water sports centre, this is a
place where one can’t afford to miss.
In the
afternoon you will have lunch and then relax by the beach. Come evening
time you will have dinner and look at the ocean and the stars and wait
for tomorrow activities.

DAY 14: ZANZIBAR
After
the morning sunrise full of beauty and refreshing air, you will have
your breakfast and head out to the Spice plantations to do your Spice
Tour. Here you will be guided through the plantations learning about all
the spices and of course tasting them, you will be intrigued by knowing
that the food that the Zanzibar people prepare is full of spices and
hence very healthy for them. Imagine drinking a cup of vanilla tea,
lemongrass tea by the beach side, it will relax your body completely.
Then you will have lunch and the food will be prepared from the spices
that you have just learnt.
In the
late afternoon, you will visit the prison island and you will learn that
this place is no longer a prison but a beautiful hotel and a historic
site, you will also be able to do snorkeling and see the largest
tortoise in the world.

DAY 15: DEPARTURE
In the
morning after breakfast you can go to Stone town for only 3 hours before
going to the Zanzibar Airport to catch your plane to Nairobi. Stone
town is a UNESCO WORLD Heritage Site; it’s a beautiful place where
history appears to stand still. You can visit the Palace Museum, Arab
Fort, House of Wonders, Market, and Curio Shops. In the afternoon you
will drive to the Zanzibar Airport to catch your flight to Nairobi with Precision Air/Kenya Airways. You will arrive in Nairobi (JKIA Airport) and you will be accommodated at Nairobi Safari Club.
When you
arrive at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport you will be met by a representative
from Nairobi Safari Club and they will take you to the Hotel.
Around
evening time you will be transported to Jomo Kenyatta International
